Heads Up!

Heads Up! is a short platforming game about a strange new way to interact with HUDs. Go through 6 different levels exploring this unique way of play!

This is much more of a small proof of concept demo than an actual full game.

Made from Sep 2024 - Jan 2025 for my University module "Advanced Design Techniques". Everything in the game was made by me apart from sound, which was taken from freesound.org, BBC Sound Archive and other various sources.

!! WARNING !!

Due to Unreal Engine 4's physics engine being framerate tied, this game will always try to run at 120FPS. The game's graphics & code are simple, and I'm fairly certain you don't need to have this running stably to make it playable, but the requirements for this may look a little higher than you'd think. Sorry! 

Game made in Unreal Engine 4. Supports keyboard only. Additional info included in the game's HU!_readme file.
